Studio 48 operates with full transparency. The following outlines the scope of our service, your responsibilities as a client, and the terms that govern every commission.

01 — Service Scope

The Digital Curation Role

Studio 48 provides a digital interior design and shopping list service. We curate your space, prepare a complete design narrative, and supply direct sourcing links to third-party retailers and brands. All furniture, décor, and material items are sourced from independent suppliers. Studio 48 does not procure, purchase, deliver, or install any items on your behalf.

02 — Measurements

Dimensional Responsibility

While our design team works carefully with the measurements and floor plans provided in your brief, the client is solely responsible for final on-site verification before any purchase is made. Studio 48 holds no liability for items that do not fit due to structural nuances, measurement inaccuracies, or undisclosed architectural features. We strongly recommend confirming all dimensions prior to ordering.

03 — Returns & Defects

Defects & Logistics

Any manufacturing defects, shipping damages, or quality discrepancies are the sole responsibility of the respective supplier or retailer. All purchases are subject to the Return & Exchange Policies of the brand or gallery from which they were purchased. Studio 48 does not handle logistics, returns, warranty claims, or delivery disputes. Clients are advised to review each supplier's return policy prior to purchase.

04 — Commission Fee

Curation Fee & Refund Policy

The Studio 48 curation fee is a one-time, non-refundable service fee that covers the design process, sourcing research, and portfolio preparation. Once your commission has commenced on your selected start date, the fee cannot be returned. If you need to reschedule your start date, please do so at least 24 hours in advance via your Calendly confirmation email.

05 — Confidentiality

Privacy & Data

All client information, brief submissions, floor plans, and correspondence are held in strict confidence and used solely for the purpose of delivering your commission. Studio 48 does not share, sell, or distribute client data to third parties. Portfolio imagery used for promotional purposes will only be shared with explicit client consent.

06 — Delivery

48-Hour Delivery Commitment

Studio 48 commits to delivering your complete design portfolio within 48 hours of your confirmed start date, subject to receipt of full payment and a complete brief submission. In exceptional circumstances where delivery is delayed, our team will communicate directly via your preferred contact channel. The 48-hour clock begins at 09:00 GST on your selected date.
