The Story
of the Space
Rising above the vibrant energy of the city, this suite was designed to be an anchor. The concept of "Heirloom Modernism" drives every choice in this room—merging sculptural, bold silhouettes with tactile, grounding materials to echo a sense of rest.
We focused on a curated contrast: the cool, expansive glass of the panoramic cityscape is met with the warmth of rich, deep colour tones and soft, architectural curves. The oversized wrap-around headboard becomes the emotional centre of the room—"a sanctuary within a sanctuary" that offers a sense of enclosure and security.
Every piece, from the terracotta velvet lounge to the hand-tufted abstract rug, has been selected for its ability to harmonize bold, artistic energy with a restorative, quiet luxury. This isn't just a bedroom; it is a sanctuary of colour and light.

Styling Notes
The lounge and bench carry the room's chromatic energy—allow them to do so uncontested. Dress the bed in neutral, matte linens: unbleached linen, flax, or cool stone. This restraint is not an absence of intention; it is the very thing that allows the furniture's silhouettes to be fully felt.
Position the Fiddle Leaf Fig in the arc between the artisan screen and the incoming light. It serves as a living bridge—echoing the botanical motifs of the silk inlay while softening the threshold between the designed interior and the world beyond the glass. Living material elevates everything around it.
Program your pendant lights to a "dimmed sunset" mode (approx. 2200K) for the evening hours. At this colour temperature, the walnut panelling deepens, the velvet surfaces shift in tone, and the entire room transitions from a place of beauty into a place of true repose. The right light is the final layer of any great interior.
